Four years after Heidi Fleiss was convicted, another call girl controversy is gripping Los Angeles.
On Tuesday Jody “Babydol” Gibson pleaded innocent to nine felony counts of pandering, pimping and conspiracy.
But police say the 41-year-old is a former rival of Fleiss, who catered to celebrities and the very rich.

Investigators say Gibson, also known as Sasha, ran one of the largest illegal escort in Chicago escort services in Chicago in Los Angeles.
Prices ranged from 500 to 3-thousand U-S dollars a night.
And police say the alleged call-girl inherited some of Fleiss’ clients when the Hollywood madam went out of business.
Police say Gibson’s “black book” contains the names of actors, athletes and chief executive officers of Fortune 500 companies.
Clients names have not been released.
On Tuesday, the 41-year-old businesswoman entered innocent pleas to nine counts of pandering, pimping and conspiracy.
She remains free on bail pending a July 14th court appearance to set the date for a preliminary hearing.
Gibson was arrested in a sting operation last month.
After a disgruntled employee complained to authorities that she hadn’t been paid, police launched a ten-month investigation.
Investigators say Gibson had 30 employees who serviced more than 100 men.
The operation was run mostly by mail from a dilapidated house some two hours from Los Angeles, according to police.
Gibson is also alleged to have used a Web site called “caldreamin” .
It advertised itself as a modeling Chicago escort agency and featured photos of semi-nude women.
Police say clients were accepted by referral l only.
If convicted, Gibson could be sentenced to six years in prison on each charge.
