The student’s texts with her supervisor at Cafe 72 in Ewing showed her detailing that she required to get off for the funeral of Michael Sot, 20, a student at The Higher education of New Jersey.

Sot died this month right after the automobile in which he was the designated driver was strike by an allegedly drunken driver. The driver now faces a vehicular murder charge.

The supervisor, discovered only as Katie, responded by telling the unknown personnel “I have to permit you go” amid a testy trade.
