500Hp Ford Escort Mk2 w/ Honda S2000 Turbo Swap || ONBOARD F20c Engined Monster

This is Adrian Hall´s (of Hallscorts Performance) Ford Escort Mk2 Turbo, powered by a F20c Engine of Honda S2000 fame, in Turbocharged form producing around 500Hp and moving only 900Kg of weight thanks to its Spaceframed construction. One of the Special Guest Cars at the last Retro Rides Gathering event at Shelsley Walsh, it was possible to see this monstruous machine performing some Demo Runs up the Iconic Hill.

Fitted with a Garret G30 770 Turbo, 6 Speed Sequential Gearbox and a completely bespoke Bodykit, this is quite a modern interpretation of a Group 5 Race Car. Built more with track action in mind than Hillclimb Racing, it is still quite the unique Monster to marvel at in these unique conditions. Hopefully not the last time we are seeing this machine trying out what the Hills have to offer…
